Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez is a television arbitrator from Cuba who is featured on Caso Cerrado and Ana Polo Rules. Ana is a child born in Havana Cuba with her mother and father when she was 2 years old, moved to Miami and joined her parents. The birthplace of Ana Maria Polo was Habana, Cuba, Ana Maria Polo is the host of the prestigious Telemundo show "Caso Cerrado" which is the first Spanish show to be nominated an Daytime Entertainment Emmy(r) Award, and it was named the number one Spanish-language program in the 4pm hour across all key demos. Polo, born on April 11th of 1959, Havana Cuba, graduated from Florida International University in Political Science. Later, she was awarded her PhD qualification in law from the University of Miami. Following her PhD from the University of Miami she practiced law in Miami for over 20 years. Polo was first introduced to viewers on television in 2001, on Telemundo's Sala de Parejas (2001) and other court shows in which the legal skills of her was showcased. Polo also a breast cancer patient and cancer survivor, frequently speaks out about her cause. She has been a strong supporter of LGBT rights for the majority of her life. She received her law degree in 1987 at the University of Miami School of Law.
